A noble game! it was for twenty two men
played and watched by so called gentlemen
years ago played by guys called 'Men in White'
years passed,rules changed with no foresight

We now have 'Men in Blue' and 'Men in Green'
once on field, the friendliness is no more seen
with the toss, the gentleness goes for a toss
to win a game,swearing of words is not at loss

we pay to watch it or sit glued before a television
construing it to be nation's ultimate winning mission
with sweats of preparation, the players perform
while others and Coach sit out praying for their form

Its not a bullfight or gladiator's fight on the field
more than the loss,they have their lives to shield
they interact,they perform and they do entertain
still the Man was poisoned,strangulated and slain

Is the game so important,enimosity is on rife
Or was the game more valuable than Bob's life
for a loss,why players and Coach is to blame
Cricket-It was afterall just a Gentleman's game

that was simply amazing Sunil.....the right touch of cynicism mixed with the trauma only enhances the solemnness of the tragedy.....only u could have come up with something so absorbing with u'r exceptional skill n prowess to penn it down effortlessly......hat's off to u my friend....u'r capability of aesthetic flair so astute.....certainly calls for a prompt salute

It is absolutely a shame
that the so called 'Gentleman's game'
have now lives to claim
n managed to put Woolmer on a frame
people who shot to a sudden bout of fame
playing this alltime popular game
even at times have been titled as a rare gem
n worshipped by the awestruck dames
yet are resorting to add more fuel into the flames
n hereby spoiling their established names
the wild system def.needs to be tamed
coz it is solely to be blamed
nevertheless all the same
u've hit the bull's eye which was primarily u'r aim

Sunil.....u've done it again pal. that was so touching......n ethereally feminine if I may say so.....makes me want to be born a girl over n over again......u know what the other day I was watching it on tv where they were shown fighting for a great cause as in preventing the death of girl child n u'r splendid work made me relive it all over again.For a person who leaves no stone unturned to ensure that it's a man's world n he's on top of it in more ways than one.....this was like a breath of fresh air.....n before u accuse me of putting u on a pedestal....I might as well remind u that I for one have first handedly witnessed the wrath of u'r acid tongue on IF well well u do have a soft n sensitive side to yourself after all despite the tough exterior:) so what are we playing here Mr......Dr. Jeckel n Mr. Hyde is it the mighty Sunsha has finally decided to bask in the sunshine huh!!....hmm better late than never!!
